Awareness, Advocacy, & Your Generosity to the Rescue St. Vincent de Paul Society

We visited a neighbor who gave $1,500 to someone who promised to "improve her credit score." Her bank required repayment of the stolen funds, even though the bank caught the scam and alerted the customer in the first place! She used her SSI and her daughter helped repay the final amount. We offset her loss by helping with rent, and we are able to do so because of your generosity. Thank you!
