Between the Feast of the Archangels on September 29 and the Feast of the Guardian Angels on October 2, this is a great week to consider all the angels at work in our lives. The word angel simply means “a messenger of God.”
We hope everyone took an insulin shot this morning before tuning in for the sweetest Mass of the school year: the annual Guardian Angels Mass of St. Austin Catholic School featuring our first graders dressed up in wings and halos! If you missed it, you can see the video at
Mass Broadcasts.
For many of us, the messengers who most clearly convey God’s unconditional love for us are our pets. Bring them tomorrow, Saturday, 9 a.m. to the blacktop for the annual
Blessing of Animals. Come rain or shine – we’ll just move under the gym if it’s too wet for the creatures you bring on a leash or in a carrier. NOTE this change of location in previous notices.
The animal blessing is likely to be the last event on our property before the fences go up. Read more about the latest predictions on next steps in the Development Project
