Remember Our Veterans
This Veterans Day, we remember and thank all those who have served in the Armed Forces of our country. Did you know, that during World War I, the Knights set up “KC Huts” here and abroad where American troops, regardless of race or religion, received food, reading materials and stationery for writing letters and postcards to the folks back home. During World War II, the Paulist Fathers supplied the largest percentage of military chaplains among all religious orders, including our own Fr. E. Philip O’Hern CSP, namesake of our Council. Several of our Council members are also veterans, including Bill Collier, Larry Schroeder, Dennis Moraw, Paul Lewis and Tim Villasana. The Knights support our Veterans!
