Construction Updates for the Week - July 1, 2023

Parish East:  
Texas Gas has mobilized for our work.  This will facilitate getting the boiler tested/approved. 

HVAC Testing, Adjustment, and Balancing work has started.  More millwork was delivered today.  All LVT has been installed throughout the building.  Power to the outlets on floors 1-3 and 5 is now live.  The elevator inspection is set for 6/29.  The fire alarm trim-out is in process.  Hardscape work in the courtyard will be done today, with Brightview coming in to begin landscaping work.  Rough grading for alley paving has begun from the ramp to parish entry from alley north to 21st.  The contractor punch is complete for levels 2 and 3.  The fire pump start-up is scheduled for July 6th.   Stair handrails and stringers have been painted on both the east and west stairs.  Functional system testing will start on July 5th.  Carpet installation is starting on the 5th floor.  The contractor punch has started on the 5th floor as well.  Work is progressing on installing the wire mesh into the 3rd-floor window openings on the playground.  Parish hall ceilings are complete and one of two projectors (and projector lift assemblies) has been installed.

Parish West/Tower: 

Austin Energy Vault serving the Tower/Parish West side has passed inspections and AE is mobilizing to install transformers.  Tower is finishing pours on level 22 with level 23 pours scheduled to start next week. The final tower crane jump was made this past weekend and the crane is now at its final height.  Finishing lintels on parish west.  The east stairs (open ones in the gym near the bleachers) are onsite and installation will begin soon.
