A Beatitude for our time - shared below - is important for us to remember now. We are in an early advent – waiting, waiting, waiting - for news, word of some kind. But there's no news yet. What do we know?
We know that Wednesday came and went without signatures on contracts. Attorneys have been working for hours on end. We continue to wait for word.
We know that our Parish Pastoral Council meets for a retreat tomorrow. Please ask the Holy Spirit to guide them as they gather, help them work through community feedback received from the recent Ministry Roundtables.
We know that you’ll be able to park around the Blacktop fence and under the gym for another weekend. You’ll be able to use the alley gate and Deacon’s Door to enter Church. It’s likely the last time. If there’s a last-minute change, we’ll post it to our website in the banner on the homepage.
We know our new path to the Church ~ we invite you to explore it! Park for Mass in our garage (5oo W. MLK), walk east to Guadalupe, then north to the Church.
We know that new laws recently went into effect in our state. In his column, our pastor reflects on the new law and what we must be willing to do to witness to the dignity of all human life.
We know we have something exciting to share! Sunday, September 19 at 1:00 p.m., in the Church we’ll take flight to look at our new building in a virtual tour of our new parish ministry and school space. Plan to join us!
