This week ~

1. Demolition began. The school cafeteria or library or 7th Grade classroom, depending on your time at SACS is gone, as is the blacktop's canopy, and the oak tree that shaded the Big Toy. Later this week, the gym or parish center demolition should begin.

2. Sanctuary stabilization excavation will likely continue for the remainder of the week. All demolition work should be completed by March 18. 

3. The new, temporary gas line from Guadalupe to boiler is almost complete, but requires the gas to be shut off to the boiler for approximately a week. Precautions will be taken to heat spaces as necessary to prevent any potential freeze damage (should weather conditions threaten). However, the church will not be heated for the next week and a half. Parishioners - please dress appropriately for the weather. It may be cold in the church if temperatures drop. Fr. Chuck specifically wants you to know that, under these conditions, that it is perfectly appropriate for men and women, young and old to wear hats in the church to stay warm.
