Kicking off the new school year

The Knights perform several activities to benefit St. Austin Catholic School during the fall and spring terms. What better way to start the new school year than with our Teacher and Staff Appreciation Luncheon in our new school!

On Thursday, August 24^th, five Council members served ham and turkey sandwich box lunches with fruit cups, cookies, iced tea and water. As soon as their planning meeting was over, Fr. Bruce Nieli CSP, our Council chaplain, offered the blessing and everyone posed for a group photo.

After an enjoyable time of socializing over lunch, the teachers and staff resumed preparing for the first day of class on September 5^th.
