Pray – This week our Liturgy Committee reminds us that by clinging to our faith in God, we can more easily release the things that keep us from drawing near to Him. It is an adult meditation on what our Faith Formation students consider as they reflect on this Sunday’s Gospel. Find the reflection on the readings at Liturgy.
The Stations of the Cross are a cherished parish tradition of prayerful meditation. Please plan to pray with us at these liturgies.
Lectionary Guides, with rich images, are an opportunity to deepen your experience of the Word.
Our St. Austin seventh graders share suggestions for prayer in action with a Lenten Calendar they created, based on the Catholic social teachings.
Fast – Eating mindfully, more simply, and abstaining from meat or other foods during the Lenten season draw our focus inward to consider how we can stand in solidarity with people for whom hunger and/or food insecurity are daily realities.
Give – This practice allows us to walk with those in need by supporting the Catholic Relief Services Rice Bowl and/or the diocesan Ashes to Easter campaign. Please take a mite box (in the Narthex), fill with sacrificial offerings, and return the box during the Triduum.
