Austin’s upcoming May 1 election has at least one “controversial” Proposition, and that is Prop B....As Fr. Chuck mentions elsewhere, it is a sticky issue. As a Vincentian, I try to “consult” with some of our early founders to gain wisdom for situations such as this. Here are some quotes I found:

In his recent work called “Let us Dream”, Pope Francis men-tions several times, in several languages, that we need to strive for these three things for all people: Land, Lodging and Labor.
