The next two bulletins will be the last we publish through LPi, the company that's produced our bulletins with the support of our generous patrons' advertising. We’ve noticed that fewer folks take bulletins after Mass. We've seen an equivalent increase in our eNews readership.
These last two editions are special. This weekend we offer our community Christmas album and in the final bulletin, we’ll explore the contents of the time capsule sealed behind the Newman Hall cornerstone in 1918 and recently opened. We hope you’ll enjoy them.
Instead of the traditional bulletin, we’ll produce a print version of our eNews. This change will result in your receiving the latest news and information, greater staff efficiency, and will even do the world a bit of good with a reduced carbon footprint.
Envelopes
We’ve one more change to share - having studied our community’s use of envelopes, we learned that fewer than 20 households currently use envelopes, while over 180 boxes are produced and shipped quarterly to families by the publisher, Our Sunday Visitor. Given that data, the sustainable course is to discontinue this process. We hope this data-driven decision is one you’ll agree with – it seemed best in terms of sustainability.
We are most grateful to those of you who’ve long practiced giving by envelope – please don’t stop giving! If you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to contact Mitzi at [email protected].
