“Having the opportunity to attend Children's Liturgy of the Word makes going to Mass a completely different experience for our family! Even parents accompanying the kids benefit from hearing the readings and Gospel in a simplified way (not to mention being able to focus better due to having to redirect our children less). I appreciate the enthusiasm of the children as they respond to prompts and questions during the interactive reflection. I'm so thankful that St. Austin has introduced this invaluable ministry. It is bound to positively influence our youngest Catholics by giving them a format to participate more actively in liturgy and worship.”

In CLW the readings and Gospel are presented with simplicity and in a way we hope will allow the children to engage and reflect on Christ's message to us.
CLW is not a separate Mass for children. Children participating in this worship must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Together with other children and their parents, they leave the main assembly at the First Reading and return at the Offertory.
