About Sr. Angela
Angela Murdaugh is a Franciscan Sister of Mary, and a Certified Nurse‐Midwife. She's a pioneer in promoting nurse midwives and birth centers. Out of this passion, she founded the Holy Family Birth Center in Weslaco, TX in 1983. She retired from Holy Family Birth Center in 2007, but remains very active!
Among the honors, Sister Angela's received are
