We'd like to thank all the volunteers who put in so many hours preparing for and helping with the Big Move(s)! We know that our list doesn't include everyone involved, but we tried to keep track and know that we had over 130 volunteers over 7 weeks of activity when we started recording our volunteer effort. There were others that helped in the months before that aren't on this list. Our list does not include the staff or the priests, who also put in a lot of time preparing and moving.
We are very grateful for the hard work of all of the volunteers listed here, and the ones whose names we might have missed. We'd also like to thank all of you who must have been praying us through these many weeks of work. There were times when we thought it would never end, times we grew impatient, challenges we thought insurmountable - your prayers were clearly at work in those times. There is no way cleaning out and moving could have happened without our volunteers' selfless giving of time.
How much time? A very conservative reconstruction estimates in excess of 2,325 hours. We have the

Our tireless volunteers have literally moved mountains of merchandise into various venues around campus in preparation for our BIG SALE. They've cleaned and tidied, organized and arranged, sorted and sifted. Other volunteers rolled up their sleeves to refresh the Music Room which will serve as offices and rehearsal spaces for Dr. Ap and Rudy Davenport.
The volunteers also gathered things for the Great Giveaway referred to in Fr. Chuck's column this week. Churches from Mexia to Blanco, Killeen to Lockhart and Smithville, have gratefully received furniture and equipment that has served us well. A merry tool-wielding band salvaged scoreboards and more from the gym to the great appreciation of St. Joseph's Catholic Academy in Killeen, where the mighty Tigers will score where once Eagles soared! Sharing what we cannot carry with us is a very good way to begin our pilgrimage.Thank You!
