Gabriel Angels (l-r) Mary Vanderheyden, Veronica Lentz, Elizabeth Cole, and Carmen Adams renew their commitment of service and receive the blessing and thanks of their community.
On June 16th, the Gabriel Angels gathered with family and others to renew their commitment to their service to mothers and families in need. As they begin negotiating our new world with limited storage space, they share this message of gratitude and more...
"Once again, thank you, St. Austin parishioners, for all the generous donations (monetary and a few in-kind) during the Gabriel Project Dollars for Diapers Drive to continue serving families in crisis!
As we take our first steps into our pilgrimage, our reduced storage space, what we call our Angel Closet, requires a new approach to our requests for support for the next 2-3 years. During this time of change, we'll not be able to accept in-kind donations. Our delivery of service will rely on "just in time" acquisitions of needed supplies & materials. Monetary donations are gladly accepted at any time and will help us meet the needs of our Moms and their families.
Again, we're grateful to all who have brought us so many in-kind donations in the past – the Gabriel Project families have been blessed by your kindness.
May the Lord bless you and your loved ones abundantly!
