Water line repair is now complete. The water is back on in the church with the exception of the restroom near the music room restroom. The water there will remain offline until the rectory demolition is complete.
Salvaged items need to be removed no later than next week as demolition proceeds toward where these materials are currently being housed on site.
What does it look like?
The Design Team will incorporate many of the salvaged items into either the interior or exterior of the new building. These materials include the lighting and cabinetry from the Holy Family room, the aluminum metal cross from the exterior of the Rectory, as well as the granite slab inscribed “Rectory.” That piece was over the front door entrance to the old rectory and removed during the earlier Church renovation project.
Completed construction of the soil retention piers along San Antonio Street, west of the alley.
Telecom providers agreed to pull their lines from the alley sometime in the next few weeks as soon as they receive the required permits for that work. This task is scheduled for the evening to minimize disruption of service during the business day.
No heat in the Church yet - please layer up!
