Personally, I've always been disillusioned by walking into stores in early October and finding Christmas decor already “front and center”, but in the case of planning for our annual Christmas Basket Project, early attention to detail is essential. And so, we begin!
You'll see an explanatory flyer in early November with all of the details, but due to our lack of space, much of our Project this year will look like last year. (I guess the pandemic gave us a true dress rehearsal!) No room for food or gift storage, so we'll be creative again! Your generosity last year allowed us to benefit even more families than ever. Please watch for details.
Polls are open from Monday, October 18 to Friday, October 29. Election day is Tuesday, November 2. Find out where you can vote, what's on the ballot, and more at
To all those who gave generously last Sunday, we THANK YOU! Only through your kindness are we able to help families in great need of support. Last Sunday's second collection (Oct.10) for Gabriel Project took the place of our customary requests for material donations. With storage at a minimum, your help - with donations online, by check, or on Venmo - is the best way to help the 40 families we serve.
We come to you for help only twice a year and are so grateful to all who contribute more often. Keep the needs of this ministry in mind as you consider donations. It provides many families with a much-needed safety net. Last Sunday was our only appeal in October. Please continue to pray for all the Gabriel Project families and for our Project volunteers.
