The Silver Rose visits St. Austin - Oct 16, 2022

The Silver Rose stopped by St. Austin’s last weekend on its journey to Mexico. On Friday morning, the Rose visited each classroom of St. Austin Catholic School so the students could learn of its significance and see it up close. Knights then escorted the Rose to the altar at every Mass that weekend. The Knights thank the staff and parishioners for their interest in this K of C Faith In Action activity. We especially thank Mitzi Eastman for her assistance in sharing the story of the Rose. We hope the Silver Rose sparked a greater appreciation for its significance and role in honoring Our Lady of Guadalupe.
